I love the back story! Thanks for that. And thank you for the GSA post shout out, as well. I am on a huge GSA kick (maybe folks have noticed?) and am now trying to figure out how to get our leader, Ellen, to talk about it, with or without me, on her show.

actually, the story can get even better than this. see, obvs i’ve known about your blog, being in the queer bloggerverse and all (this girl called automatic win) and though I’ve been a shitty blog-reader lately, what with running Autotraddle and all, every Saturday I faithfully read all of Sinclair’s shared items on google reader because I put together this NSFW Sunday post for Autostraddle and Sinclair’s shared items are jumping off points for me to find good stuff in the queer smutiverse. (I’m just going to create “iverse”s for everything)

So Sinclair shared your GSA posts and you know how on google reader it’s rare that you actually read the whole thing, since the whole app is designed to sort of facilitate moving on? Well I read the whole thing and thought it was so awesome and good,had feelings, and put it in our Sunday Funday Daily Fix (not to be confused with the NSFW Sunday daily fix, that’s different) (I’m making this confusing).

And then Haviland BBM’ed me and was like, “i love that gsa post!!! who is jesse james?” and this is where your story begins!

I first heard about Haviland when Tina and I were hanging with Joe My God and were quickly introduced at Curly McDimple’s NYC blogger weenie roast in Bklyn a few years back (it’s doubtful that she remembers but her name was unique so it was easy for me to remember). Coincidentally that’s the same event where we both also met Mr. Sinclair Sexsmith for the first time.

That post that’s gotten so much attention was an awesome one, jesse. I’m looking forward to the Haviland interview even if I don’t have a clue what type of question I’d ask her!
