(and thanks to Ruth, too!) honestly, i’m just there to make sure these kids have official support and space, and to (try to) do right by them. i want to ensure they have a safe-space to just “be”, knowing that someone “gets it”, and has been there, and made it out the other side. (much like you, coming back to support your own hs gsa)

on a more selfish note: it’s *great* to be able to be totally out with even a small group of students. not only out as queer-friendly, but out as FEMME, no less!! Friday at lunch is the bright spot of my week, cuz not only can i be there for them, i can be ME!
