The Federal government has to step in soon to stop the majority voting and taking rights away from the minority.

Everything but marriage and yet the right wingnuts are still not happy with something that does NOT equate to marriage? Why are so many people afraid of less than 10% of the population anyway? Let’s hope the Prop8 trial brings about the equality that we’re striving for.

The duck song is cute but I’m done laughing. Sex offenders have more rights than we do and that makes me sick.

This reminds of of one of my former BFFs. Between her mom, her sister and her, they have contributed ten – TEN – divorces to society. Yet they firmly (okay, rabidly) defend the sanctity of marriage as between a man and a woman. It angers me that people like that can get married (and divorced) over and over and still denounce our right to have have equality.

All right, I need to get off this soapbox.

I just cannot believe we are putting minority rights on a ballot! These types of issues have been mandated by higher courts in the past for a reason…to protect minority rights!

On the one hand, it scares and frustrates nearly to tears… on the other, they better give us our eff’in’ money back if they take away our rights as domestics!

and so consistently timely! it was only a couple of years back when mike huckabee envisioned “herds of animals” (he has a way with words, no?), and now there’s mister crazy texas congressman whose name i don’t remember going on about sex with ducks on the floor. i mean, “going on” on the floor of congress. not sex with ducks on the floor. but, um, whatever. yeah. holy awesome, anyway!
