It was a long standing joke where I grew up that the tourists would ask &quot;what elevation are we at?!&quot; when standing on the docks, and we&#039;d say, &quot;oh, about TEN FEET.&quot; 

Also thought it meant something about walking off of a pier, over the water, ten feet, like a little miracle happening, but not a whole &quot;I can walk on water&quot; miracle, just a small, ten-feet miracle.]]></description>
